A few important tips.
1. Your v… status is your private and personal health information.
2. Even if you have revealed this status in the past, this is considered “hearsay” as you could change your mind at any time.
3. Employers have no legal right to ask you about this status.
4. There should be no third party in the doctor-patient relationship. Your employer has no right to impose their will into this relationship.
5. Dont’t give in to coercion! It is unlawful and there will be heads roll in due course. Hold the line.
6. If a boss asks you to send a photo of your v…. card, tell them they are breaking the law.
7. You are allowed to record a meeting with your boss on this issue, and you may have a support person. If you feel you need someone to help you to be strong, this is a great idea.
8. DO NOT RESIGN.
9. Do not do business with your management on this issue over the phone, ask them would they kindly email you so that you have a record.
10. Mandates are NOT laws and you are free to ignore them.
