This dude managed to make it into a lady’s house and into one of her children’s rooms. The family was super chilled about it and handled the situation perfectly 👌🏼 they closed the room and blocked the bottom of the door with some towels and waited for someone to come remove it.

Remember this includes drones. I remember one year 3 helicopters had to be grounded for over an hour because multiple drones were flying around. If you see people flying drones tell them to land if they don’t it might pay to be “that person” and notify the police it literally stops our biggest tool from working on the fire

🚫 We have declared a temporary restricted airspace within 5 miles of any fire activity at the Wanneroo Bushfire until further notice ❌

This includes drones, model aircraft and multirotors.

Aircraft being flown near bushfires not only poses a major safety risk to firefighting personnel in the air and on the ground, it also forces our aerial fleet to be grounded or redirected, hindering firefighting efforts.

Our aerial fleet is still working hard to support ground crews to protect lives and homes.

This was from our trip to Mettam’s pool (in between Hillarys and Scarborough). This place has so many swim throughs. I can’t wait for the summer snorkeling trips ❤️.

Finally made it back to Mettam’s pool. It wasn’t super nice in the water, but we did manage to get a good swim in and got to play around in some of the swim ...

Another mint spot we basically had to ourselves. Definitely loving these rotto trips but it is getting busy on the island. We saw a few rays and some octopi. The viz wasn’t the greatest but it was still a super fun snorkel.

Indi battling the cold waters of Rottnest with her 2 wetsuits, hood, new gloves and her boots 👌🏼 she is incredibly buoyant with all the neoprene layers might need to add some more weight to her belt to help her to dive down.

How many crabs can you spot 🦀 I went down to the Kwinana grain terminal for a night dive the other week. This dive was one of the Manta Dive Club social night dives. I highly recommend heading to some of the free shore diving meet ups and start getting in the water I need more dive buddys. Ps the 🦞 are coming I need lobster buddy 👌🏼

Definitely worth the effort to go check it out. There was heaps of little critters around to find if you take your time and just look I’m sure you can find h...

Last week had a bit of everything in it Big snakes, little legless lizards, flame poofers and snorkeling trips. I have a few videos to post (hopefully I don’t forget to do them) and only because it would be rude not to take advantage of the water conditions tomorrow, I guess we are going snorkeling so that’s another video.

Check out this super beautiful dugite I got yesterday in woodvale. I still think I’m pretty lucky to be able to do this as a hobby, educating people along the way and hanging out with some of the most venomous snakes in the world. It is super warming to see how peoples views on snakes are slowly changing and more people are suggesting to call someone to move it on instead of the shovel. :)

Thought I better fix the holes in the bag but I was told no more patching the bag 😂 definitely shows it’s not about how expensive or how big your equipment is it’s about how you use it. This is literally a pool hoop I found 4 years ago and my partner stitched some fabric to it. It’s had well over a hundred temporary residents and is been retired but still gona use the hoop but I think it’s time to make a not temporary one 😂

Thanks to the people that stopped and checked on this snake. Unfortunately it was dead before I got there, but still moved it off the road. I know snakes are scary to some people but try not to run them over if possible :)

Supper crushed about this one I got the other day in Quinn’s 😞 it’s pretty sad and hopefully it wasn’t ran over on purpose. Don’t forget if your in the Quinn’s area and you get a snake on your property I’m just around the corner.

Didn’t film much this year but here is some of the videos i got or the Mambakoort Mindarie - celebration of lights this past weekend. Always have a blast sharing reptiles with the world and helping people understand a little bit more about snakes or working through holding a snake for the first time. The kids have a blast together and probably run abit to much of a muck but never a dull moment. Hopefully next year we can do it again if it’s on and if Tessa’s Reptile Services has us buck 🤣

It is the second year the Mambakoort Mindarie- ACelebration of Light has been held at Mindarie marina. The family decided we would do a few days volunteering...

Supper crushed, did a welfare check on this unfortunately ran over tiger tonight by the time I got there it had passed on. Unfortunately these things happen if they do the best thing to do is keep clear of it and from a distance see if it is still moving. If it is contact a animal rehaber or snake catcher and see if they can help. (Not not all snake relocators will do this for free or donations so double check before confirming, it dose cost us money and time and sometimes we can’t afford to wear the costs)

Managed to get one without getting bitten 😂 king’s skinks are pretty cute, but man do they know how to bite. Lucky these guys will avoid contact with people at any cost even if that means dropping its tail.

The butt belongs too a quenda, also known as the western brown bandicoot. How cute is this little marsupial 😍
