🌻👋️ So long, but not farewell Myks' Tape Audio 👋🌻

It is with a sorrow heart to announce my studio will be temporarily closed whilst we find a new location to move into. Unfortunately, the landlord executed his executive right to terminate my lease with 30 days notice; to lease the premises to another tenant.

It's been a fantastic learning experience and a wonderful opportunity to meet new clients and friends.

Whilst incredibly sad to be temporarily losing my business, I'm seeing this as an opportunity to build something bigger and better!

A huge thank you to all that has been with us from the start and those we've met along the way. None of this would have been possible without you. I'm excited and motivated to rebuild something even more special for you all.

Here's a little insight into the journey so far from how we leased the place, to our first opening and how it looked before pulling it all down.

We opened our doors to the lovely creatures of Sofar Sounds Perth that hosted an intimate gig in the studio. It was a beautiful night, we'd be very keen to open our doors for my gigs! My heart is extremely grateful for everyone that put effort into this event, it wouldn't have been the same with all your combined efforts. 🥰🌻

A 4-hour rehearsal costs $110.00, which includes 24-multitrack record and an experienced sound engineer to assist with mic setup and PA Check. Hire also includes drumkit and bass cab backline.

Myks' Tape Audio and Dolly Llama Productions are excited to announce our new partnership; to create professional film and audio content of live sessions at our Leederville Studio. Together, we want to create something special for our artists and capture the beauty of your art. Our concept is to create something like VH1 Storytellers but with our own unique take. Our Packages will include;

Intimate Artist Session

This will suit acoustic performances or artists wanting a live capture of their singles and/or EP. Artists will receive a mixed and mastered single(s)/EP and professional film quality recording of their performance.

This package includes the following;
- Professional Studio Recording of up to 5 tracks played live
- Mixed and Mastered audio for single(s)/EP release
- Professional Film quality recording of their performance, edited to suit different lengths for intended release (i.e. Full-length, 15-90 second length)
- Promotional material for social media and marketing

Live Sessional Recordings

This will suit artists looking to capture a live album or an entire set. Artists will receive a mixed and mastered album and professional film quality recording of their performance.

This package includes the following;
- Professional Studio Recording of up to 12 tracks played live
- Mixed and Mastered audio for album release
- Professional Film quality recording of their performance, edited to suit different lengths for intended release (i.e. Full-length, 15-90 second length)
- Promotional material for social media and marketing
- OPTIONAL: Additional off-site recordings at a venue of your choice to add into the footage

* Artists may select whether they would like to capture continuously, or redo takes which we edit into one seamless piece.

Marketing & Social Media Package

This will suit artists seeking to create a large quantity of audio and visual material for the purposes of social media (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok etc) and marketing purposes. We welcome artists to bring their own ideas (i.e. segments and skits) for the day but we also have many ideas and a team of film experts and social media consultant to help create material that will capture and showcase you as an artist.
