This is how we made our acoustic panels here at Emerald Room Studios. And a little insight as to how much they cost to make….
Here is an insight as to why we use these acoustic panels in our rooms. We used these smaller, shallower acoustic panels that are made to reduce a little bit of the flutter echo that happens between parallel surfaces in rooms as well as treat frequencies above about 500hz.
Because this is a rehearsal room, we need to minimise reflections and high frequency build up so the mics don’t feedback as much!
We have 3 in each room so far (minus the live room and control room) with more to add later but these do the job just fine!
