Hello , Friends, Trolls, Presidents, Prime Ministers, War Lords, Unicorn people, Militant Transgenders and all the other wonderful people out there that make the world go round..
All year we are at each others throats, and it's annoying and exhausting, Washroom studio has been around a long time, over 25 years in fact.
People often scoff at the small but very much appreciated following we have on social media, this was not always the case.
In the past we had over 250,000 followers and people that liked our pages, our stance against the leftist ideologies long before covid began seen us attacked quite a lot, our friends and families targeted by people unhappy with the truths that we have always maintained to this very day.
Throughout all of this, obviously there has been a lot of learning, about Politics, Law and the basis of it all, "boring as bat s**t", but essential to us all going forward, the truth cannot be mistaken, yet it can be twisted, misinterpreted, corrupted and even weaponised, and its the weaknesses in society that are susceptible to such things.
Without bias; there are many groups out there in society that are far more "Needy" than others, some are of an essentiality to mankind moving forward in terms of survival and some really are not, thats not opinion, ideology or biased bigotry, thats a simple fact.
Back when Facebook first became popular, Washroom Studio was called "Alan MacGregor Music" at the time, and a following was brought from myspace, bebo and several other platforms to this one, because of the features available at the time.
This has significantly changed, our pages were shut down, the contacts stolen when these new "community standards" were introduced, all of the admins personal accounts closed down as they didn't like what we had to say..
Years of hard work, gone in an instant because of some ideologist had to poke their nose onto our pages, involve themselves and got schooled for it.. our aim was to get musicians a fair go at the time, to stop the favouritism among agents in the Australian music scene.
we were extremely successful and paved a way forward for many artists.. All of that Gone in an instant, all those contacts, friends and business associates, because of one little leftist, that didn't believe that Agenda 21 was a real thing.
Now that it's Australia day, we love the country we live in, we love the people, irrespective of their boredom making them fight over life's indulgencies, we respect everyone equally, left, right, black, white, were all Aussie..
When I am on a stage performing a song, I dont discriminate any audience, same on Facebook, however, when attacked, Washroom will respond, no doubt about that, but we keep an even field, open to debate, and all too often, we get attacked.. not only by political people, but by others that are jealous of our achievements, they get personal, smear our names to the public and are just bad people.
We keep a VERY low profile on Facebook, for obvious reasons, it's like living in a foreign country, living by rules that dont apply to your home life, how is that any reasonable way to communicate with your target audience, when the entire spectrum of the algorithm is working against you?
So as we step into the next phase of Washroom Studio and take things to the next level, we look forward to engaging a lot more through Radio and TV, Radio has been quite the set up, expensive is an understatement...lol, but in order to do things effectively they must be done correctly, especially when we have jealous little mites that consistently feed off our ideas, concepts and innovations..
we keep all that under wraps as well... you never know what termites are in the woodwork.
