A tribute from fellow Hall of Fame inductee Michael Titheradge and long-time Aussie Steelers Team Manager:
βGibbo was the Heart & Soul of the Steelers program for 15 years. He was the driving force behind shaping the culture of TICAR that paved the way for the teamβs first ever world championship Bronze Medal in 2004 and he was front and centre once again when the Aussie Steelers were crowned 2009 ISF World Champions. The dedication he displayed was clear for all his team mates to see, whether it be his skills behind the plate, throwing runners out with his cannon-like arm, setting up group chats for the team to share training results or being on tour and spending countless innings in the Bullpen making sure his pitchers were ready to take on the world Gibbo simply rolled up his sleeves and did it all.β
