We were lucky enough to join the Lake Navarino Suzuki Jimny takeover today which attracted over 120 Jimnys! Great to see all the different set ups and mods on these awesome little fourbies.

First look at our new truck after round 1 of modifications. We tried it out on a fairly easy track and first impressions were good!

Mods so far include:

- 6x37" super single wheels & Hankook mud terrain tyres
- Parabolic suspension with remote res shocks and a lift
- Harrop front e-locker
- crew cab scrub bar with roof rack
- new rear canopy
- ECB winch bar

Still to come:

- rear winch cradle
- front and rear winches
- 6 wheel tyre pressure monitor system
- off road flares
- radiator guard
- a/c condenser guard
- diff and steering arm guards
- 12v system
- sound system 🔊

- and more!

What would you do? 🤷‍♂️ driving along a nice hard sandy beach when out of nowhere well.. this happens 😅 it only gets softer ahead, there is no way to turn around with the trailer, nobody around but the FJ and tide is coming in fast! 😬 think fast!

It's a big week for us as the Y62 replacement.....our Fuso Canter Truck is getting a tonne of upgrades and we're hoping to take it out on its first 4wd trip!

It's just over a year ago since we found .buggy after he'd been sitting in a warehouse for a few years!

Here's some photos of his transformation and amazing journey up the Great Central Road, across the Simpson Desert and Anne Beadell Highway.

He's an original pre tag 1961@meyersmanx 2wd beach buggy with a 1.6l beetle engine!

We're currently fixing him up for his next adventure. Where would you like to see Bruce go?

Had some fun playing in the dunes at the weekend with a bunch of 4wds and this guy! A few boggings along the way but all part of the fun 😀

Even managed to help out some poor souls bogged on the beach 🏖️

The beach run from Lancelin to Wedge is really gnarly and soft in places, so be careful if you are heading along there.
