No one has 100% motivation every single day.

Whether it’s work, training, relationships, hobbies, housework and literally everything else within our lives.

Our motivation increases and decreases every day and can be influenced by so many factors.

How we slept, how yesterday was, who we spoke to, who we didn’t speak to, what we ate and so many other things.

Once you accept that every day isn’t going to be 100% - you will realise how much easier it is to go easy on yourself on those days you feel low.

This year was probably the most challenging and most rewarding year.

In January I purchased my first property and launched my online business.
I have always wanted to own my own place and have my own space. I wanted to achieve that so bad! And I did.

I also wanted to launch an online business for the past 2 years. But I held off for 12 months because I kept doubting it. But I finally took the leap and started earning an income online. It was daunting and exciting all at the same time.

I had invested into something for the first time in my life. And I also started paying a mortgage for the first time in my life.

All in the month of January.

Some people use events or where they are at in life as excuses.

I use them as my ‘why’.

Going into debt was my ‘why’.

Paying a mortgage for the next 30 years was my ‘why’.

Having no money left over after all bills were paid was my ‘why’.

I didn’t wait till I had more money to start my online business.

I didn’t wait till I was comfortable with my mortgage.

I didn’t wait for things to change.

I made the change happen.

I decided it was time for things to change.

I’m using the last month of this year as a ‘why’.

I’m using it to drive harder than I have before.

I’m using it to create more money than I have before.

I’m not using it as an excuse.

I’m not waiting for the new year to ‘start’.

I’m using the last month to ensure this year doesn’t end like the last one. To ensure I’m not in the same position as I was 12 months ago.

I became sick of trying to organise everything all the time and figure out whether I could ‘afford’ to do it.

“𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣’𝙩 𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙞𝙩” is the most used reason for people missing out on things in life. Rather than saying “I can’t afford it” we should be saying “𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣’𝙩 𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙩” because life goes so bloody quickly we should be experiencing everything we possibly can be! We can’t afford not to.

Struggling with a lack of finances was getting in the way of me achieving what I wanted and also experiencing everything in between. I felt I was missing out, whether it be missing out on a weekend away, a campdraft because entries were worth more than a weekend in the Bahamas or as simple as wanting a coffee and sausage roll from the local bakery on a seedy Sunday morning. I was missing out on things because I “couldn’t afford it”.

Don’t get me wrong, I am very grateful for what I do have and what I’ve achieved but I wanted so much more from life! I wanted to live, not just exist.

No matter how hard I worked or how much overtime I was doing, I never seemed to get ahead. I found myself working to exist.

Something had to change.

I came across a vehicle and took a really good look at it and the stories of those who walked that path before me. I decided enough was enough and I jumped at the opportunity to invest in myself and my future.

I saw this vehicle as one that could get me to where I wanted to go. It could help me achieve more freedom, financially and also give me more time to live, so I wasn’t just existing.

"Work feels exhausting."
"I don't feel inspired."
"I feel like taking a nap and watching netflix instead of growing my business."

These are things we all feel and struggle with from time to time. I've been there.

And I'm sort of there right now.

The last couple of months were A LOT.

I travelled a lot.
Rodeo’d more.
I broke my collar bone.
Unable to ‘work’ my traditional job.
I struggled to do the most basic things.
Met some hurdles.

I was tested a LOT these last couple of months.

And now I feel exhausted.

And I want to chill out and not do anything.

These are moments I honor myself rather than bully myself for not working hard enough.... I feel into the relaxation and I just let me myself be.

When I am feeling the need to relax, I listen, because I know there is a huge breakthrough or shift that is about to happen. I made big leaps and now my heart mind and soul need to reconnect and recover.

So rather than fight or resist the "lazy," I allow and enjoy.

Learning to give up control and just "be," knowing that the universe was talking care of me is a really powerful lesson - and when you learn it, trust me when I say this, you financially prosper.
