You don’t really get that in most places in the UK, and honestly… it’s a great thing. It makes everyday life feel a bit more special ☺️

The Great Ocean Road 🛣️

This was one of our most anticipated stretches of road, and it marks us nearing the end of the big lap! It definitely didn’t disappoint 😍

The views are insane, it’s genuinely one of the most beautiful coastal drives we’ve ever done… and there’s even a rainforest 🤩

The Californian Redwoods were an absolute highlight, and we’d encourage anyone doing a Great Ocean Road trip to stop by and see these giants in person 🌲

In our experience, making friends in Australia felt easier than in the UK… 😅

There are more clubs, more social sports, more outdoor stuff… and the better weather really helps. Plus people seem more open to chatting, hanging out, and doing things after work, which makes settling in feel less scary! 😊
