John Dowler's Vanity Project - Existential Friend LP and Minivan EP - OUT NOW!

The Minivan EP is a companion release to the Existential Friend album, Two songs are covers of songs that were originally released sixty years apart: "Cardinal" by Kacey Musgraves (2024) and "I Need You" by the Kinks (1965). The disc is rounded out with "Changing Times", a Dowler original.

Also out today - the vinyl release of Existential Friend. It's a great album!

And then you’re covering a Blondie song for the JVG Radio Method RRR and you think…..what guitar should I use for that big riff? And then get a bit of 60s jangle in there with the custom Audrey 12. Very important gear purchase today. Audrey’s interior stylist .waters met me at our new friends’ place in North Fitzroy, they showed us heaps of beautiful Persian wool rugs and we picked this vintage one to complete our new control room floor. Bringing Iranian vibes from the 70s when women went to uni, peeps wore western clothes and before rock music was banned in 79.
