Australian Nascar E Series
What happens in Vegas..... including half my panel work.

Cracking night again, having a blast with this series.
Solid from Chris Purnell #920 & Scott Lefeber #66 with securing top 10 for Virtual Motorsport Mentor.

Rough night for myself after promising practice through the week.
Qualified 10th but just couldn't find the groove, lucky to bring it home in 16th still on the lead lap.

Unlucky to Jarrod Williams #96 just no luck tonight.

Cheers as always to the lads at

RND 4 from of Australian Nascar E Series series was run and won last night.... not by me or my team mates.

But anyway, well done to the leading bunch for a great race, was fun while I was in the hunt.

Was quite surprised to lay down a lap in qualifying good enough for P4, even with completely butchering lap 2. Just tried to gain too much because I'm a potato.

Dropped a few spots off the initial start, but the strategy was to not push the tires early, just lay down consistant times, managed to work my way past again back to p4 and was settled into a good rhythm hanging within 1sec of the leading trio.

Some early strategic calls on cautions 1st one was perfect for just fuel to get a fuel advantage later in the race. 2nd one I forget to click tyres... so got a bit swamped at that restart. But was still pushing out the same times as earlier in the race, was starting make my way back through once they had taken some life out of the new tyre.... got the caution I needed when I finally started feeling the tyre starting to go around lap 60 or so... not taking them early had also given me a tyre advantage for the back end of race compare to some of the guys I felt I was racing for a podium.

But things can change rapidly, I was getting frustrated not getting through the pack even as a quicker car racing for p10 like it was the last lap for p1. But barley halfway. Which kind of took me away from the rhythm and looking after the tires, while trying to get a run to clear the last car of this battle pack. I picked up the throttle a touch early in turn 1/2 and lost the rear on exit which resulted in a 40min repair.

Was close to a rage quit, but stuck around to help out spotting for fellow Virtual Motorsport Mentor drivers Scott Lefeber #66 & Jarrod Williams #96, who also had a bit of a rough night.

Plenty of lessons learnt all round from the boys as we aquire the oval skill sets along this journey.

As always cheers to all the guys at
