What’s the last game you played? I treated myself to an early Xmas present and picked up the new last week!

I’ve played all three previous games in the series and love them (fantasy RPGs = 👌🏻) so can’t wait to sink my teeth into this one! Ofc I’ll be playing as an elven mage ✨

What is the last movie you saw? Last week I went to the Melbourne premiere of .folieadeux!

These nights and events are some of my favourites, there’s nothing better than getting to see a movie you’ve been waiting for for ages with a cinema full of people excited to be there!

The movie was definitely more artistic than I expected, and was a beautiful example of incredible filmmaking. Lady Gaga is also exceptional - she is the definition of a triple threat!!

It’s almost time for this weekend 🥰 What are you most looking forward to?

PAX is one of my favourite weekends of the year - three full days celebrating all things gaming, from big to small publishers, heaps of epic gaming themed stalls with amazing merch, areas to game with others, incredible panels, an epic dodgeball tournament this year, and, of course, the best time to get together and connect with other gamers within the community! ❤️

I’ll be there on Saturday and Sunday and can’t wait to see everyone there and meet so many new people! If you see me please stop and say hi! 😄

What are 3 things you like to do on weekends?

For me I love to go for a nice long walk, which is a little hard to do in the dead of Winter before or after work 🥶 I love to catch up with friends, and I love to have one night to myself where I order a pizza and sit down to watch a movie with no distractions!

I’m trying to bring more mindfulness into my life, which includes listing 3 things I’m grateful for each day. I’m grateful I get to do these things most weekends, and they bring so much joy to my life! It’s always the small things ☺️

Wishing every weekend could be Mardi Gras weekend 🌈

Last week I celebrated my third Mardi Gras with friends up in Sydney which was AMAZING. It’s always so special to be able to celebrate my community amongst so many people, and with such an event! If you’ve never been I would 100% recommend - it’s a weekend like no other!

I think I took more screenshots in this game than I have for any other game I’ve ever played - the detail in the graphics, especially the characters, down to the detail of their skin, and the stunning landscapes totally blew me away!

Not only was Horizon Forbidden West a beautiful game, it also had such a strong, moving story, and some of the most engaging side quests that had purpose to them, instead of the stock standard ‘fetch’ quests that feel so repetitive and get old very quickly. I felt so emotionally invested in this game, the lore, and the world Aloy traveled throughout her journey.

I can’t wait to see what does next with the series, especially after making a great series exceptional with the release of this game. Easily one of my favourite PlayStation 5 games!
