And yet again, here we have a delightful survivor. The car used to be owned by the driver’s sister. All the bumps n scrapes and sun baked panels are either from her time of ownership or from being laid up outside unused for a number of years.

Until younger bro got his hands on it. And now it rides again.

Took the kid to the hill climb at Haunted Hills today. Plenty of action in the car park (coming over the next few days) ...

Plenty of action in the car park (coming over the next few days) including this original survivor reef green XW GT Falcon.

Owners dad bought it new. Stood in a paddock for a number of years before being recommissioned for the road.

I do love a survivor.

Carry on the way we’re going and there won’t be enough skilled tradespeople around to work on classic cars in the future leaving a whole load of them languishing in sheds up and down the land. Brendan O'Connor MP and Gayle Tierney MP we need a TAFE Centre of Excellence for Classic Car Restoration and Repair in Victoria that’ll serve the nation. The industry desperately needs it. Owners desperately need it. The economy desperately needs it, wouldn’t you say Australian Motor Heritage Foundation
