GWM "The Value of More" // GWM create cars that give you more for your money. As part of the campaign, Dreamscreen assisted with 3 of the core TVCs.

Our simulated travel sequences gave talent (human and otherwise 🐶) an immersive and safe experience to perform. The shots were then spliced together with additional footage seamlessly to help sell the realism.

In just one day, we were able to film for 3 different ad spots, making it efficient and safe for all involved.

We kicked off our exciting Dreamscreen Traineeship Program on last 27th of November!

The successful trainees are: Laura Sweetman, Stephanie Bonnes, and Alex Yakimov

This is a 12-week paid program to train the 3 candidates for the role of Studio Hand at Dreamscreen Australia. The program is supported by Screen Australia and delivered by Media Mentors Australia.

Virtual Production Workshop Supported By VICSCREEN 🎬

Dreamscreen Australia recently hosted a series of intensive educational workshops at our Virtual Production studio, supported by VicScreen.

Working industry professionals, such as Cinematographers, ACs and Production Designers gained practical experience on a state-of-the-art, Virtual Production stage.

These artisans left with a vivid understanding of both technical and creative capabilities of a virtual environment, including 2D, 2.5D, 3D workflows as well as shooting for simulated travel. Dreamscreen were pleased to assist in upskilling our peers in the processes of Virtual Production and we look forward to welcoming them to their next VP shoot with that knowledge in hand.

We’re thrilled to be running the Dreamscreen Studio Hand Traineeship with the support of Screen Australia. This is a 12-week paid program to train 3 candidates for the role of Studio Hand at Dreamscreen Australia. As a studio hand trainee, you will be expected to complete a range of day-to-day and on-set duties assisting both Dreamscreen staff and production crew members. This position is offered to enhance the overall knowledge base of working on a virtual production stage and an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the film industry.

Dreamscreen is a location that hosts productions. This role focuses on the technical operations of the studio, as opposed to the creative development of productions. There is the possibility of on-going work long term for the successful candidates. We are actively looking for people who see themselves in technical support roles long term. Responsibilities will include Set Preparation, Equipment Handling, Production Support, Studio Maintenance, Communication and Collaboration and Safety Compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Passion for Film Production, Physical Stamina, Flexibility and Adaptability, Excellent interpersonal skills and Organisation Skills and Problem-Solving Abilities.

Commencing in late October - date TBC depending on availability.
