The Cost to being Authentic.
We all live in a world where we grew up with people putting there expectations on us and the values and worldview we have were shapped by our upbringing.
The disciples would have been no different to you and I until Jesus called them to be different.
Being different by being real, genuine and authentic means embracing who Jesus really is because when you do he will show who you truly are, just ask Peter who was called Simon how real this is but folks there is a cost.
My next message on "The Authentic Voice" my personal podcast is going to address the question of identity and knowing the truth that sets you free which is the word himself "Jesus"

The Living Water.
Often when we hear this term we think refreshing or even the spirit of GOD.
When Jesus spoke to the woman at the well he said to her that if she knew who he was she could ask of him and he would give her living water and she did ask.
Why then would Jesus turn around and ask her to bring her husband?
Well first of all he knew the man she was with was not her husband and he knew she was there in heat of the day avoiding people.
I asked him once "Lord why did you ask the woman at the well to go get her husband"
He said because this was the source of her trauma.
The living water lives inside you and the The Fathers loves wants to heal anything that is stopping it from coming forth.
Think on this, did Jesus not say the Kingdom of GOD is within you?
Next Monday 7 pm I am starting my new series The Fathers Love and the topic of the first episode is Love by design.
