OMG I’ve made a year! This journey was never about the language, it was to distract my constantly busy mind. I can’t speak a word of Italian but I manage to slow the story wheels a little and now average 5 hours sleep a night! Bellissimo!

I am thrilled to have such a strong turn out for the masterclass Acting to camera with Sian Davies. This is also a masterclass for Directors. We have participants from all over Tasmania as well as interstate here today - experienced actors and those starting out. This is a dream of mine to help and offer something for creatives in Tasmania but I can’t do it alone. I am an independent producer and this is about developing new talent and offering genuine opportunities for Tasmanians to be considered in the plethora of film and TV that is exploding in the state. I am extremely grateful for Encore Theatre for stepping up and could I encourage any people who ‘say’ we need to develop talent to get behind me.
