Thank you so much for the invitation Be.Bendigo to last night’s event! I was proud to be there as a contractor member of the Lost Trades Fair team, a nominee in the Events category.

The finalists in the business excellence awards, gathered at the wonderful venue Mackenzie Quarters, Mackenzie St, just off View St. An opportunity to meet the Be.Bendigo team and the event sponsors, and also to network with other nominees.

In my former work life, I had involvement in Visual Merchandising, store design, fixtures and fitouts, and have had a life-long love of Shops.

The first one of my appreciative shop shout outs is...
The Fishmonger Kyneton : a locally owned and operated business serving premium fresh fish and seafood to the good folks of Kyneton.

Located in a former Butcher's Shop in a historic building at 43 Mollison Street, you can also indulge in a few goodies such as I have purchased over the last few weeks, including anchovies, sardines, potato crisps and Maldon salt.

🎉6 week, intensive short course through RMIT Online done and dusted recently. Another digital badge for ‘Content and Social Media Marketing’ to prove it 😄 and it was great to give the brain a workout and also up-skill in such a ever-changing landscape.

I donated a few hours of my time in the last few weeks to help promote the recent .antiquefair.

This was a major fundraiser for the Macedon Ranges Friends of East Timor, and was held here in Kyneton. Funds go towards strengthening education, maternal and child health and community in Timor-Leste 🇹🇱

I was very happy to find out today that that money the committee saved by me donating rather than charging, has helped two high students to attend school in a small village in East Timor.

A great day spent in Castlemaine! Lots of photos taken on the walk that we took in our lunch break, guided by a historical society volunteer.

I was fortunate to be in the audience at the Mainstreet Australia 2022 conference today. Many thanks to Macedon Ranges Shire Council for my ticket (as a Business Kyneton member).

Lots of ideas now swirling around : I met some lovely and inspirational people and I was the lucky winner of a book written by the entertaining speaker 👌
