"We've become members of the International DJ Guild. It's £5000 a year and it's like a masonic lodge for DJs!
You have to be invited by a fellow DJ, and it's very exclusive.
One of the main goals of IDJG is to stop young people from getting all the best gigs. You could say we are gatekeepers, well I say that's a good thing! You have to be over 40 to become a member and we get a cool little badge and a pair of slipmats.
We've got a secret greeting we do, you put one hand up to your ear as if holding a headphone and with the other hand you pretend to scratch an invisible record! It's great!
The only negative I'd say is that women DJs are allowed in the Guild, I was quite hoping it would be men only...like the golf club I'm a member of!"
