Our Story
Simon Saffigna (Shagga as he is more commonly known by his peers) is a local Gold Coast film producer. Shagga grew up in Coolangatta with Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson and Dean Morrison whom the world know respects as the surfers who defined there generation.
Shagga's film "3 degrees" which was based around the Cooly kids (Mick, Joel and Dean) first year on the professional surfing tour that earned him a credible reputation and resulted in a number of international film awards at the age of 21.
Shagga has gone on to produce more than 10 films, a TV series and has won more than 10 Surfer Poll awards for his cinematography work.
