Something phenomenal happened this morning!

Tasmania was actually warmer than our home town of Tweed Heads!

We are currently 16° and in T-shirt’s wandering around this amazing place that captured the world 18 years ago!

📍St Helen’s, Tassie

Today we were fortunate to meet this incredible human- Samuel McLennan.

🚫 Samuel had planned to sail it from Hobart to Sydney, but that voyage has been put on hold.
Marine and Safety Tasmania says it will consider re-registering the vessel if certain conditions are met. Samuel is still waiting on an outcome after further emails sent last Friday.

♻️it was awesome to see what he’s done to recycle debris and waste that has been washed up on beaches and waterways in Tasmania, this boat looks solid!

🌎 He’s certainly doing more than most to clean up the mess that other humans have made… it’s a disgrace what other humans do to our beautiful planet!

⛵️it was such an honour to meet Samuel and we wish him all the best for his future endeavors!

🙏 PLEASE do your part to conserve our beautiful planet and pick up any rubbish on the beach and bin it!

What an Amazing day! Ben Lomond National Park in Tasmania, home of Jacobs Ladder. Kinda freaky steep switch-back road but so beautiful with todays sun and ice/snow.
Then get to the village and seeing snow, Brad hasn’t seen it before and had a blast - till he remembered he didn’t dress for cold 😜

This week we are packing up camp 🏕️ after being here for just over 3 months, we are sad to be leaving beautiful Hobart, however, with the camp hosting finished, we are going in search of more fun and adventure and hopefully we will capture a glimpse of the Southern Lights (Aurora Australis).

The pic below (not ours) was taken last night, not too far away, and just with an iPhone and visible to the naked eye 👀WOW!

As we head further south towards Bruny Island, for more beautiful mountains, beaches and trails, we thank you so much for following along and hope we can being some magic to you soon from the Southern lights 💙
