I recently travelled up to Brisbane to shoot the most devine artwork from renowned Gold Coast based artist .

Tania’s work is beautifully created and maintains rich texture, colour and a pleasing aesthetic which I captured in private homes, professional clinics and homeware shops.

Tania develops commission artwork for purchase through her website, is a featured artist at and you may also know her work from hit renovation show The Block.

Last week, I was given the opportunity to contribute to the Oscar Oscar Salons blog.

To celebrate the launch of Oscar Cullinan’s WILDE products as well as ‘Veganuary’ an annual month long concept to try or adopt a vegan lifestyle, I curated a selection of vegan celebrities and paired them with vegan, cruelty free and sustainable products that readers can use themselves.

This was an amazing opportunity for me to really showcase my copywriting skills.

B U I L D I N G A n E m p i r e : Designing my own (mock) bizz website at Uni has been the most stressful and draining portion of this degree but personally the most victorious. I chose a degree in media to upskill my knowledge, but am learning much more than I ever anticipated. Disclaimer: It is highly probable that I will not be a website developer/designer in the future. Patience is the one thing I need to work heavily on and it takes a lot☺️

To all my female entrepreneurs.

If you want to create a ripple of change, you need to get your feet wet.

I have always been taught to take risks. Risks are scary and you worry that you might fail. In fact we worry so much that we are going to fail that we don’t consider that we also have a 50% chance of success. Those odds are great.

Starting my own freelance media business after spending an entire year of full time study to become a Beauty Therapist was not in vain. It led me to where I am now and for that, I am forever grateful.

Four years ago (at the age of 36) I started full time study to become a Beauty Therapist after a career in aviation, a few years of international travel and a stint as a stay at home Mum.

I’ve always loved Beauty and am a true believer in cosmetic chemistry and the long term benefits of relaxation, but when I fell into media by chance, I experienced a new determination for a completely unexpected career path.

Subsequently, I am now under 12 months away from graduating university with a Bachelor in Media and Communications and gratefully still get to work in the beauty industry - just behind the scenes 💻 📱this time.

I wanted to study Criminology and Forensics when I graduated Highschool, now I look back and think my sensitivity would never have gotten me through that.

I think it’s fair to say that sometimes it might take us some time to find our true path, so to all the highschool graduates of 2020 - to the early leavers and late bloomers who decided to change careers or degrees because they let their heart lead the way - Good luck on your new path. You know where you’re headed 📚✍🏻
