Another busy week in the Pookie Studio—multi-tasking at its best! The laptop and Studio PC have been working overtime with a fantastic variety of voice-over bookings and audio projects.

With just one week left in February, next week is already packed, and bookings are rolling in for early March. Plus, I’ve got a 3-hour webinar to learn VO Dubbing—another exciting VO genre to tackle!

A big thank you to those who have connected with me this month—I’ll be making time next week to catch up!

For now, the mic is off… until tomorrow when it’s back to the booth for a couple of radio shifts!

Feeling Reflective and Inspired 🦋

What a whirlwind start to 2025! January has been amazing so far, from commercial voice-over bookings to e-learning projects, explainer videosand radio imaging, the studio has been buzzing with creativity.

Exciting news: I've hit a major milestone—my first video game casting for 2025! 🎮 Thrilled to join DP Studios in Milan, Italy, and secure six roles, including three major and three minor characters. As well as now being added to their Talent Roster. While bound by an NDA for now, I'm absolutely over the moon about this opportunity!

The Power of Growth and Collaboration in Your Craft.

As voice-over artists, much of our work is done in solitude—just us, the microphone, and the words on a script. While this independence is something I love, it also makes those moments of collaboration truly special.

This morning, I had the privilege of connecting via Source Connect with an American e-learning company for a live-directed session, thanks to one of the incredible e-learning agencies I work with. These agencies span four different countries, and being on their roster has opened up amazing opportunities.

The vibe of the session was fantastic! Working live with the team, they pushed my voice and performance into places I might not have discovered on my own. Together, we crafted a unique little character voice that I’ve now added to my character voice vault—an exciting bonus!

This experience reminded me how vital it is to continue growing in your craft, whatever industry you’re in. Growth often comes from stepping out of your comfort zone, learning from others, and embracing opportunities for collaboration.

Whether you’re a voice-over artist, a marketer, an educator, or in any other field, growth is a journey of discovery—about your skills, your potential, and how you can better connect with the people you serve.
