This Saturday City of Fremantle is putting on a free community event with North Freo Bowlo and North Freo Social Farm. There will be loads of activities for the kids, a tour of the farm @ 10am, lawn bowls, coffee and treats thanks to The Little Pantry.

Head down between 9am - 12pm for some seriously high community vibes. ☕️🌱🎳🎨

This Saturday 9th November 9am - midday we are collaborating with the City of Fremantle, the North Freo Social Farm and RAC to bring you a free community event for all!

We'll have Bacon and Egg Burgers on the BBQ and you can come and play Lawn Bowls and other games. Plus there'll be...

• Free bike basics with RAC. Refresh your knowledge and build confidence on a bike.
• Games, activities, face painting organised by Fremantle Toy Library
• Tour of North Fremantle Social Farm. Learn more about community gardens and living sustainably.
• Little Pantry will be running a stall.
• The Coffee Combi will be selling coffees

We always love working with to capture the family fun around Freo and last week was no exception. The weather gods blessed us with sunshine as the kids took over the streets for the Freo Builds trail in search of Lego masterpieces inspired by our eclectic Port City. We stumbled across a giant octopus attacking the harbour and marvelled at the very cute caterpillar ferris wheel 🐛

Shipwrecks Museum has a special visitor and she’d love to meet you! 🧜‍♀️

Mermaid Kat will make a splash these school holidays to share offshore tales of the deep sea and magical moments spent swimming with her fish friends.

You can find our new long-finned friend on the front lawn of Shipwrecks this Friday and Sunday, and don’t forget to bring sun protection including a hat and sunscreen.

How are we all surviving school holidays? On the count down yet?

Lets us help you get through the last few weeks with some very cool (and mainly free!) things happening around town.

Fri 12th – Take the kids out to grab an early dinner and kick back to watch ‘Back to the Future’ on the big screen . 4pm – 7pm.

Sat 13th – plays a free family friendly gig at Piney Lakes Reserve. From 5pm.

Sun 14th - Perth wildcats fan day at the Esplanade 2pm - 7pm

Mon 15th & 22nd - are back to show the kids a trick or two at Esplanade park. 10am - 12pm.

Wed 17th & 24th - Experience the magic of virtual reality at . 2 -3pm

Fri 19th – Enjoy pools and inflatables for free, and meet Freo players at their Footy Splash day. 3pm – 6pm.

17th – 21st – Carnival rides and vibes take over Freo each day from 3pm – 8pm. Head to to buy tickets (only $5!).

Sat 20th – Join the Marine experts and the local community to celebrate the new Bicton Baths enclosure . 10am – 12pm.

The silly season is well and truly here, there’s loads of family fun happening around our Port City this weekend. Our top picks are –

Head down Port Coogee to experience a festive wonderland by the Marina this Friday from 4.30pm…. It’s the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit, with Santa and his elves, market stalls, Christmas craft activities and much more.

Bazaar Makers Market takes over all weekend, while you are shopping the roving Christmas fairies will delight the kiddies, and you won’t want to miss one-of-a-kind festive photo op on the iconic concrete couch to get your annual family snap.
