We may be called Canberra Youth 'Theatre', but we like to give our young artists every opportunity under the sun. Are ✨ you ✨ ready for your big screen close up?

We’re delighted to partner with Ruth Pieloor of ACT4Reel to offer a one-day Acting for Screen Masterclass that will give you the know-how to make a big impression on set and on screen in a friendly group environment.

With Ruth, you’ll learn to:

🎥 Choose from various scripts to find scenes that reflect your casting-type.
🎞 Be guided through working on your own and in pairs to unlock the energy of a scene.
🎥 Get the skills to build character, create dramatic tension, find narrative arc, and show your best qualities on camera.
🎞 Get experience of acting on camera, and learn how to constructively analyse a performance.
🎥 Receive direction and develop your performance through several takes in the real-life conditions of a film shoot.

Screen skills are hot in demand these days, so are you ready to take that leap from the stage to the screen?
