Excited to have one of my short scripts receive an Honourable Mention in the Best Screenplay - Shorts category and my second make it as an Official Selection in the New York Film & Cinematography awards.
Was also great to see Curtis Taylor’s Jadai: The Broome Brawler getting an honourable mention in the Best Short Film category. I was lucky enough to see it at CinefestOZ as a part of the Deadly Indigenous film set.

I'm a bit excited to have just received an email notifying me that a short screenplay I wrote has been selected as a quarter finalist in this years Australia Independent Film Festival.

It was also selected as a nominee in the Hervey Bay Film Festival, so it's great to know that my first "real" script is receiving some recognition and is resonating those reading it.

With the help of Annie Murtagh-Monks, we are searching across WESTERN AUSTRALIA for characterful 8-13 year old kids of any cultural background for various roles in an upcoming Australian family film.

No acting experience is necessary, we are just as interested in the kids who want to give it a go!

Overall shoot dates: mid October to early December 2023

Please note: Most roles will not be required for the entire period.

The applicants MUST be based in Western Australia.
