We are currently finalising a date to record an interview episode with Maverick Sports Partners Director Maurice Bisetto, but in the interests of being organised we're putting the call out now for questions you would like to be answered by one of our new owners.
Please be respectful etc and we will try to get whatever reasonable queries posted to be answered (obviously where he is able to provide responses)

Hoping to also have interviews with Jets CEO Shane Mattiske and Head Coach Rob Stanton in coming weeks as well
We will also investigate if we can line up an interview with Director of Football Ken Schembri too however there will probably be a short wait as he will need time to get acquainted with his responsibilities and the club

Here it is - final game of the season and it's DERBY DAY!!

Still no news on ownership so if this is our last game ever let's go out with a bang.
Stalwart Jet Jason Hoffman plays his 300th A-League and final game in the Gold jersey, so let's send him out in style.
The maths is simple - take 3 points from the Coast, deny them the Premiership and straight away hand it to Wellington.

If those 3 reasons can't get you to the stadium this afternoon, then nothing can.

Fantastic away performances from both the Men's and Women's team in the face of extreme adversity not even knowing if the team will even exist next season to each win this weekend.
The Women's team were able to prevail in Tarneit against Western United in extra time to book a semifinals berth starting with the first leg in Maitland next weekend to continue their season.
And the Men's team were able to notch back to back wins against the Brisbane Roar and look to affect the premiership outcome in the competition facing both the Phoenix and then the Mariners in the final two weeks of the regular season of the A-Leagues.
This is why we love football, and why the league can't let this team die. Fingers crossed for both of our Jets teams, and hope that finally we might have some good news about our ownership in the coming weeks so Novocastrians will have a club to support going forward.

UPDATE
Frustratingly, we recorded an episode for this week which unfortunately we can't use as the audio tracks we downloaded from Discord were choppy and distorted.
We were hoping it was only in the first couple of minutes however it appears to be throughout the episode.
Apologies to everyone who was hoping for a derby preview episode.

We will make sure we have a fallback option going forward so this doesn't happen again.

Looking forward to the this weekend and hopefully we will have some positives to discuss in our next episode

We are all saddened to hear Stephen Laybutt's body has been found after being missing for two days in bushland near Cabarita on the NSW North Coast.

Affectionately nicknamed the Fridge by supporters during his Jets playing days due to his uncompromising defensive style, Stephen was a much loved member of the club during our 2008 Championship season who also represented Australia as a Socceroo 15 times between 2000-04.

A quiet bloke who did his talking on the pitch, he unfortunately had his footballing career cut short while playing at the Jets after rupturing his achilles.

We join all of our footballing fraternity in mourning his loss and ask you keep his friends and family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
