Smart Women Publish

Smart Women Publish At Smart Women Publish we coach you through planning & writing your manuscript, then produce your st Hi, I’m Bev Ryan. I saw you on TV. It takes courage.

When I published my first magazine, ‘Work From Home’, in my 40s, people’s view of me changed. I was a mum with four children, working from home on an acreage near the Gold Coast, then people began saying “You published a magazine!? Wow, that’s amazing!”

I felt amazing too. I was no longer invisible, and I had created something people really wanted to read, with ideas and inspiration. I still reme

mber that intangible feeling of success, knowing “It’s a big thing – I’ve done it and the world recognises it!”

In my coaching and publishing work now, I identify the same struggles and desires in other women, and help them break through so they see their own ideas in print. We all achieve so much in our lifetime, yet it often goes unrecognised. The power of publishing means you can capture your knowledge and your guidance, put them into a book which people value and keep and recommend, and reach far beyond where you might even imagine. It’s an intimate thing, where you share insights into who you truly are, and things you may not reveal any other way, in order to change someone else’s world, even in a small way. It’s permanent. It’s important. And that’s why for over a decade now I’ve been passionately helping women be courageous, take charge, and share their value through writing and self-publishing their non-fiction books.

I was so excited - and a little nervous - to speak with Louise Phelan on her wonderful podcast, 'Boost Talk', and it has just been released today. Turns out, we did well, speaking about women 'releasing their own remarkable' in their career and in general.

(This conversation happened because we connected again at an AWiB event a couple of months ago. Lesson - GO NETWORK and speak to people.)

Louise and I have a common interest in professional and personal development for women - and we found we have a common love of the work of career counsellor, Barbara Sher, who also helped people write and publish books.

About Louise: "My passion lies in unlocking performance potential and supporting women to meet and exceed their objectives in life and at work. My goal is to put their career success back where it belongs - in their own, safe hands." (boostyourcareer.com.au)

My passion is helping women release their remarkable in books. And valuing their middens. (Correcting myself in the video - I mentioned Madonna King when I should have named Kath Noonan as the author of the article about middens.)

I hope you enjoy our conversation and draw some value from it - and drop a line below if you do.
