Quilpie sunset 🌅
Staying at “The Lake” caravan park just outside of town.
Amazing grounds, lovely staff and awesome van spots with privacy screens between bays, power and water $35/night.
Spots on the waterfront of the lake $25/night
We needed to plug in to power as our generator has a blown fuel bubble thingy from the red stuff we just came through otherwise we would be on the lake too!
They also have artesian baths available for $25/pp for a relaxing hour

Little overnight stay in Noccundra
Dinner at the pub with Wayne and Trish where we all enjoyed a hot shower and lamb shank dinner
Before heading on to Thargomindah

We made it to Cameron’s corner! Bucket list ✅
Burger and a beer at the pub, we also saw lots of creatures and interesting things along the way whilst we walked around Lake Paroo and then on the way back we saw an amazing wedge tail eagle 🦅

Wanaaring to Tibooburra today, only 260 klms but all on dirt, red red dirt the kind that gets in every corner of EVERYTHING !

😱 this fuel price was at TJs … yes we paid it!!! 🤦‍♀️ plus we paid $5 for water! 🤬🤬
And just down the road it’s $2.27 at the corner store! Plus FREE water fill up! Not happy Jan. What a bummer 😂😂

We’re finally off….again. We had to come back to Brisbane for my second hip replacement for a two week recovery which turned into 11 weeks as we had to tie up some loose ends which was completely unexpected.

Yes!

When you see something like this, don't be afraid, don't call the firefighters or the police, don't move and don't kill them.
These are just bees traveling and stopping for just 24 hours.
Don't disturb them and avoid getting close to them, they won't hurt you.
If you want to help, put a flat plate or tray with some sugar water.
Bees will eat, gain energy and fly away.
We all need to protect migratory bees, they are our survival insurance.
Without bees, there will be no humans on earth. 🐝🧡
