The 2024 Mickey Thompson Tires Australia ARB 4x4 Accessories Qld Off Road Racing Championship has crowned it's victor, Driver Jan Kraaij and navigator Wessel Pieters, car #1140 of Keymax Racing!

Competing in their 2006 Bat Spec 0, powered by a GM 6200cc engine, the pair showcased skill, consistency and teamwork to finish at the top of the leaderboard.

Jan and Wessel finished the season in top place with an impressive 305 points, outpacing second-place finisher Drew Callander ( #99), who earned 270 points, and David Loughnan ( #104), who finished third with 268 points.

Jan has been competing in off-road racing since 2007 and has achieved multiple class championships in Queensland and South Africa. Highlights of his career include a class win at the Roof of Africa and an 18th overall finish at the Finke Desert Race.

Correct air pressure in a tyre helps to distribute the weight of your vehicle evenly across the tyre’s tread pattern, so that the tyre – and the vehicle itself – is at its most stable. When a tyre is over- or under-inflated, it loses stability, negatively affecting handling, cornering and stopping.
