The Little Helpers Program is READY, SET, and GOing into 2023 full steam ahead!

For any community groups or local organisations in need of FREE assistance running their shows, look no further. The Little Helpers Program is here to lend you a helping hand in the form of a keen, young creative hoping to gain some real-world experience in their creative field.

Here at The Little Echo, helping out our community is one of our greatest initiatives, alongside providing our youngsters with work experience opportunities. That's why we're taking this to the next level in the New Year.

We’ve already got our photography superstar Cooper G (17) on board—who’s next?

For community groups and organisations, as well as potential Little Helpers themselves, there are Forms of Interest available to fill out on our website.

Local family, the Dickie's, have an annual tradition of putting together a Christmas Wall in their home in the lead up to Christmas. All of the artwork featured are handdrawn by the four kids, Sam (17), Hayley (16), Emma (10), and Lauren (8).

On Tuesday 15th November, our journo Georgia Wright was lucky enough to represent The Little Echo at the Live Simply, Use Less Event at Club Oxley. Hosted by John Steley, an avid believer in sustainable practices and a local activist for change, the event ran smoothly. Everyone left the Club with a refreshed mindset, and a newfound determination to fight for our earth 🌏. And, might I add, a sense of local pride after checking out the amazing submissions featured on our display!😍

💛A message we should all consider with the Giving Season fast approaching:

"Kindness is something that we keep in our heart. Everybody has it deep down inside. All you have to do is use it for you and other people too. Remember that if you are kind to other people, they will be kind to you. Also remember to be the kind person whether you are a grown-up or a child, you need to be the kind person. I know deep down underground there is a spot of kindness."

Today Georgia Wright from the TLE Team spent the morning at Padua College voting for the best of the best stories in each category for their Writing Comp!
