Happy New Year everyone!

We’re kicking off 2025 with a feel-good story of a young man who’s cricket gear was stolen from him, with Icon Sports Melbourne coming to the rescue to ensure he’s able to get onto the park this week 🏏.

Cooper kept his cricket gear in his Father’s car, which was stolen from their property in early December. Fortunately, they found the car a week or two ago, unfortunately, Cooper’s cricket bag had been taken from it.

I made Cardas at ICON aware of the situation, and he was more than happy to help kit out Cooper, gifting him with brand new pads, gloves and a bat! You couldn’t wipe the smile off that young man’s face.

We are thrilled to welcome Jackson Mooney back to the mighty Saints, another talented North Ringwood Junior. Jackson has spent the last two seasons with Eastern Ranges and last year played in East Ringwood’s U19.5’s Premier Division Premiership side. Jackson is a classy mid/forward who is looking to have a break out year at senior level and will add some more class and talent to our already young list.

🌟 New ambassador announcement 🌟

It’s with our pleasure to have Chloe Aumann our new young gun onboard for season 2025/26 and beyond 🏏

Chloe has recently just stared for the in the VMCU carnival the past fortnight with 12 wickets @5 leading the competition in wickets along with 87 runs @21 which was the 8th highest in the carnival.

At the young age of just 10 this little star has a bright future ahead of her and we can’t wait to be there to support her and join her for the exciting adventure ahead.

We welcome Chloe , her father Tim and their whole family to the Icon team🏏

ICON SPORTS T20 TEAM SELECTION

The RDCA T20 returns this Tuesday at J.W. Manson Reserve - and with it, our 2023-2024 guest player, returns to St Andrews!

Brodie Richardson will yet again don the baggy blue, as we look for another grand final appearance, and hopefully we look to go one step this season.

Green Lane CC's favourite Saint is joined by a great mixture of youth and experience - including our Icon Sports T20 captain, Jesse Lynn!

Get down to the club Tuesday as we face Vermont, and hopefully we start our RDCA T20 campaign off with a win.

Canteen and bar will be open as always, so come have some food, some drinks, and watch some cricket!
