Pencil in the last Sunday of January for a beach clean up. The rubbish on our beaches at the moment is appalling and the least we can do is get rid of it. Hoping to get as many as possible to do a sweep with garbage bags. If we get enough helpers we might even have an impromptu BBQ. Who's interested?

Apollo Bay Boardriders Club AGM will be on the Friday night 4th November at Bottom Pub. 6pm. Followed by social catch up, counter meal etc. A great chance to dust off the winter cobwebs. If you are interested in nominating for a position on the committee please give Ben or Will a call prior to meeting. Comp will be on the Sat or Sun depending on conditions.

Winter is over, we've just had an awesome August weather wise with the odd good day of surf, and things are looking good for the rest of the year. Stay tuned for whats in store over the coming months

If you are planning on surfing between Tuxion and Wild Dog be careful. There are heaps of trees, sticks covered in sand and protruding through like spears (on the low tide0...could be nasty if you had an encounter with one.

Word on the street is that a major tv network wants to make a reality tv show about them.

Fantastic day on Sunday. Waves pumped, BBQ went off, surfing standard was full on. Well done to Luke Lalor who absolutely ripped to win the Mens Open. Not to mention his Mum, Boo, who charged in the Open Womens. Next up? A team mountain bike challenge. Stay tuned
