For the past 15 years, Iāve been going to the infusion lounge at the John Hunter Hospital.
Itās been such a huge part of my life, but Iāve always dreamed of being able to do my treatment locallyāand now I can.
This dream has been made possible thanks to the incredible wedding community that I am part of. š„¹
To the industry friends who came together to fund the medical equipment I now need, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I cannot even guysā¦ šš
I literally cannot put into words what this means. Every single one of you reading this has contributed to my journey and I cannot even say thank youā¦.
ā¦because thank you doesnāt seem like enough! š
With the biggest smile in my heart I can say that on Monday, I had my last-ever infusion at the John Hunter.
From now on, I wonāt have to go back there. And to be fairā¦ it is a little bittersweetā¦ because those nurses have been with me through so much. Some of them have literally watched me grow from a 19-year-old into who I am now. And I really will miss them. šš
But itās also a relief. Being there has always been a reminder of what could comeā¦ itās always been a trigger seeing others with MS who canāt walk or live a normal life.
This milestone is the best reminder of how far Iāve come, and Iām soooo incredibly grateful to everyone whoās been part of this journey.
Dreams really do come true and I love you all so much.
Special thank you to from for making this happenā¦
And Jordy from and Jo from for coming to spend your Monday morning with me to celebrate my last ever infusion at the hospital.
And a huge thank you to my Neuro Team, My nurses, Bay Doctors and Anna Bay Pharmacy for all coming together to make this happenā¦
