I was the only non-Certified Wise rhymer on 3x DMC national turntable champ Staen1’s ‘Certified Dope’ release (CD only via Obese Records)-A mixtape of Certified Wise -a crew based around 4 of Adelaide’s formative hip-hop acts-Cross Bred, Mongrels, Hilltop Hoods, After Hours & Terra Firma.
I was in Defenders with Flak & DJ Snair (both CW), so I snuck through the gate with a Latin Banger I produced called ‘Now Let’s Start’ in 2006.
Once you win the Australian DMCs 3 times you can no longer compete so Staen is an undisputed champ & for a long while now he has rocked with @deltathelostralian on stage, still performing.
As do I -I’m doing a support slot for @dunndofficial Dec. 7 with my turntable legend dL, along with a deck set from Terra Firma DJ, @djdyems and a bunch of ADL acts with lunch AND dinner in the ticket price at @westsidemushies-go check their page for tickets -30 left at last count.

She is the founder of the Care Albino organization in Senegal fighting discrimination & teaching albino children to be comfortable & proud in their own skin and that they are beautiful too -like she is inside and out.
She founded the organization after hearing of the terrible things that were happening to albino children in Tanzania at the time & they are lobbying for zero tolerance laws on discrimination for all of Africa.

Laying down some improv bass with the king @ciecmate on production when, along with @viliani93 , we did hip-hop workshops at @gapyouthcentre mid last year with kids from the camps in Mparntwe/Alice.
Ciecs made sure that the majority of music we made was from samples/lines from the kids playing instruments themselves, but a few cool jams happened across the week.
The Squire bass had so much grime on the strings it gave off a cool staccato dead-sounding James Jamerson vibe. Motor City Alice 😆 (in more ways than one). Great kids, great company, great time.
