Feel Good Story: Congratulations to Makayla Colson and the Lady Swish Basketball team Winning The Legacy school of sport science Basketball sports tournament in the U.S. 🏀

The 15 year old Kaurna, Narungga, Ngarrindjeri, kokatha, Dieri, Yankunytjatjara young lady was selected to play for the team to travel to the U.S. to play in the tournament. The young champion plays local basketball for Woodville Warriors Under 18's and is currently in Houston Texas USA playing for JL Swish, the team played two games in this section of the tournament against two different U.S. teams wining both convincingly to become tournament champions, recieving their amazing Championship rings 🤩

Makayla is now set to travel Las Vegas to play in her next tournament, She will be returning to Australia on 21st December.

Congratulations Makayla 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
