Our editor, dr Pál Négyesi has been chosen as a finalist in the Bentley Editor of the Year category by the Guild of Motoring Writers in the United Kingdom. The awards ceremony will take place on 5 December.

The Guild of Motoring Writers' awards are the longest-established and most prestigious in automotive media, recognising editorial excellence.

In 1931 Josef Ganz demonstrated the versatility of his Maikäfer prorotype by driving it under a trailer (see the moment in the trailer of the documentary, How I lost my beetle (https://josefganz.org/documentary/). Yesterday Drietel Dressel, the current owner of the car, together with Pál Négyesi, editor of Rare & Unique Vehicles repeated this feat by crossing a barrier during the meeting of the Automobilhistorische Gesellschaft (German Auto Historians' Association).
