Anocean, a powerful union of past members of shoegaze bands Thrushes and Mittenfields, has become a standout in the DC and Baltimore music scene. Now they have just released their fantastic debut ep "climbing walls", featuring five songs blending shoegaze, dream pop and post-punk. Just listen to the opener, "happier without". So beautiful! 🌊

We've already loved their debut album "Trouble"* - now we are delighted that Laundromat Chicks from Vienna are back with more nocturnal jangle! And what's even better: their third album “Something Possessed” is to be released in January 2025 via Siluh Records. But until then, let's listen to "Cameron", a beautiful song where the protagonist explores his sexualty, while frontman Tobias Hammermüller's vocals remind us of legends such as Calvin Johnson or Adam Green. 💚💜

Just one more sleep and the debut album by Brussels band Turquoise - appropriately titled "Avant demain"😊 - will be released through Freaksville eight (!) years after the band's formation! We expect 80's synthesizers, melancholy, and beautiful French vocals just like on their fantastic lastest single “Paranoïa” which we've been listening to non-stop for weeks.

Anyone who knows us knows that we've always been big Popsicle fans. So we are all the happier that Andreas Mattson has teamed up with Tiger for the fantastic song “Väntar på moln”. It's the second single from their upcoming third album and, like the rest of the album, was recorded in an old church in the Swedish countryside. It's about those happy moments in life you don't quite dare to enjoy because they are bound to be over soon. Beautifully melancholic!

Remember how we fell in love with the Austrian-German duo Cloud Cloud in 2020 and featured them repeatedly in our show? Now one half of them (the Austrian one!) is back with another project which is just as good! Under the name Guave, Marten Kaffke is collaborating with various artists. For his latest single, “To October”, he has teamed up with singer-songwriter Jeanne D'Arte. The result is a beautiful, dreamy and melancholic song that deals with the painful moments of a relationship breaking up. Simply the perfect soundtrack for October!🍂💔
