The main difference between an ERC-1155 and an ERC-721 is that ownership of NFTs is not registered in the same way. Following the example of the video game, if I had 10 NFTs of the same target rifle (ERC-1155), there would be no way to distinguish one from another. Inside my portfolio, a balance of 10 white rifles with ID 1 would appear.
Hence, the ERC-1155 are a combination of the ERC-20 and the ERC-721, since they are non-fungible tokens (NFTs), but with some degree of "fungibility" (in that those of the same type are interchangeable with each other).

The ERC-2309 standard, on the other hand, was created by Cargo as an extension to ERC-721. This standard allows you to create multiple ERC-721s at once, saving a lot of gas fees.

It would be something like trying to move some files from a folder to a pen drive: you can copy the folder with all the files in one move or move one by one manually.

Of course, the tokens created with this standard continue to have the same cost problems as the ERC-721 when they are transferred.

The main difference between an ERC-1155 and an ERC-721 is that ownership of NFTs is not registered in the same way.
