It is so heart less of the person or persons driving that blue and white print pick up truck that look like a company truck that hit the dog by the stop light by the bridge a few minutes ago at least you should of stop and check to see that you hit such big Dog you couldn't say that u didn't see him at all but what if it was a human would have done the same like you did tonight, you just kept on going, remember God don't sleep. Sir William Arthur Lewis (23 January 1915 – 15 June 1991) was an economist well known for his contributions in the field of economic development. In 1979 he was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. He had dual Saint Lucian and British citizenships.

Biography
Arthur Lewis was born in Castries, Saint Lucia, then still part of the British Windward Islands federal colony, as the fourth of five children of George and Ida Lewis. His parents had migrated from Antigua shortly after the turn of the century. George Lewis died when Arthur turned seven, and Ida raised their five children alone. ANTIGUA – LIAT reintroduces flights to St Thomas - ilandvibez.com

LIAT has reinstated its Antigua to St Thomas service that the company discontinued on March 14, 2017. As of Monday July 2, and every Monday, Wednesday and Friday thereafter, the company will operate one flight out of V.C. Bird International Airport to the United States Virgin Island of St. Thomas. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LIAT, Julie Reifer-Jones said there were a number of challenges in the past including cost and demand which contributed to the suspension of service, but there was always an indication that service would be reintroduced. “We decided to reinstitute this flight because we have had a lot of requests from St. Thomas and from passengers who want to go to St. Thomas to continue the service to that island,” she said. ST LUCIA – Government of St Lucia clarifies position on LIAT - ilandvibez.com

Prime Minister Allen Chastanet has clarified the Government of Saint Lucia’s position on LIAT following reports carried by local and regional media that Saint Lucia will subsidise the airline. “We support LIAT as a regional airline and remain committed to seeing the necessary restructuring and some real change in operations at LIAT,” explained Prime Minister Chastanet. “We have been consistent in our position on LIAT in that we propose that the airline operate on a strictly commercial basis. We have not yet made a decision on subsidising LIAT. What we have agreed to is a meeting to discuss some of the issues relevant to the airline. TRINIDAD – CAL advises of new baggage restrictions into the US - ilandvibez.com

Caribbean Airlines advises that effective June 30, 2018 following a directive to airlines from the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA), new carry-on baggage restrictions are in effect for all passengers flying to the United States of America. Specifically, any “powder like substance” with the exception of baby formula, medically prescribed powder-like substances and human remains will now be forbidden in carry-on and cabin luggage if the quantity of the substance is over 350 millilitres, 12 ounces or 350 grams. The same limitation applies to the capacity of the container which cannot be over 350 millilitres. All passengers flying to the USA must give up any “powder-like substance” over this amount and place it in their checked baggage for transportation in the baggage hold of the aircraft.
