8th Annual Antigua Barbuda Gospel Music & Media Awards
URGENT UPDATE
Friday October 14th 2022
On Tuesday October 11th the Antigua Barbuda Gospel Music and Media Awards Founder, Apostle Stanshaw Cornelius, received a call from the venue booked for the hosting of the 8th Annual Award Ceremony stating that the event could no longer be held there.
The reason given was due to the current scheduling presented by the West Indies Cricket Board, who is now prioritized for the occupance of the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium during the previously booked dates for the Awards Ceremony. These circumstances are to no fault of the ABGMA Committee or the Staff at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
Therefore, as a result of this, a new venue has to be now sought for the hosting of this global event slated for Friday November 4th and Saturday November 5th 2022.
The ABGMA Founder, regrets this setback but is not deterred and hopes to get a new venue as soon as possible. Please be on the look out for another updated Press Release once this becomes a reality.
The Antigua Barbuda Gospel Music and Media Awards is a global award ceremony that honours our best in Gospel Music, Media and also Honourary Awards for Distinguished Service across various fields. This year is intended to feature performances from both Local and International Artists. 2 Days and 4 Events, inclusive of an Artist Showcase of new and upcoming talent.
