BREAKING NEWS:withdraw es**rts from South East, Rivers Governors, senators, Nigeria Police Force has ordered immediate withdrawal of personnel attached to governors, senators, public office holders and high profile persons in the South East.
This was decision reached following the incessant attacks on police formations and officers and in the region.
The directive was contained in a police wireless message shared by The Whistler.
The signal containing the information was dated “101054/05/2021” and with reference number 0900/DTS/DOPS/VOL47/812 and issued by the Commissioner of Police (DOPS), Asaba, Delta State.
It said, “Sequel to the incessant attacks on policemen/ snatching of arms and ammunition by the proscribed IPOB/ESN elements in the eastern states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States and Rivers State, COMPOL DOPS directs you warn personnel that es**rts of their principals to the six (6) eastern states is suspended forthwith until security situation improves. Ensure strict compliance please.”
According to the publication, the acting spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed validity of the wireless message, but noted that it was not meant for the press.
“Firstly, the message that was sent out is not for press, so I don’t know how it got to you. Secondly, it is for policemen attached to VIPS not to es**rt their men to any part of the eastern state. That is the directive,” said Bright.
The South east and some parts of the South South regions have recently witnessed series of attacks on police stations, prison facilities and killing of police and other security personnel.
Last weekend, a total of 10 police officers were killed in Rivers and Akwa Ibom States while vehicles and police buildings were burnt.
The police are insisting that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and their security unit, the Eastern Security Network, ESN, are responsible for the attacks even though the secessionist group led by Nnamdi Kanu, are persistent in their denial.

Insecurity: Southern Governors Meet In Asaba Amidst Heavy Security

Following the attacks on Police Stations by unknown gunmen, there is heavy security in Asaba the Delta State capital as southern governors meet today, Tuesday.

The road leading to the Government House, the venue of the summit has been barricaded while security at the entrance gate has also been beefed up.

The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Olise Ifeajika, said that almost all the governors are expected to arrive in the state today (Tuesdays).

He said, “Yes, we are happy to have them, the meeting will hold in the government house; after the meeting, decisions will be taken and the communique will be read.”

BREAKING NEWS: There was a robbery attempt in the A*O VILLA

The Presidency on Monday confirmed an attack on the residence of Ibrahim Gambari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu confirmed the attack on Monday night on his verified Twitter handle.
Shehu said there was a ‘foolish’ attempt to burgle Gambari’s residence at 3am.
He, however said the attack was unsuccessful.
His tweet read; “ The Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has confirmed that there “was a foolish attempt” to burgle his residence at 3:00am this morning but it turned out to be unsuccessful.”

BREAKING!!! Unknown Gunmen Storm Ozubulu Vigilante Office, Kill 5 Operatives, Set Building, Vehicles Ablaze || NKANUTVMEDIA

According to the report reaching us which indicates that heavily armed gunmen yet to be identified have killed no fewer than five persons in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra State.

The office and vehicles of the Vigilance group in the area were also razed by the hoodlums.

According to The Nation, a top business man in the area was among those killed during the attack.

Anambra Police spokesman, Ikenga Tochukwu, confirmed the incident but said he had not been briefed on the number of casualties.

According to him: “Yes, there was an attack in Ozubulu but not the police station but Vigilante office by the hoodlums

“They came in Sienna vehicles, motorcycles and attacked the office of the vigilante.

“Security operatives have been deployed to the area and normalcy has been restored,” he said.

He told The Nation the incident occurred around 7pm on Sunday

An eyewitness claimed that over five bodies were found at the scene of the incident.

BREAKING!!! RELOCATE TO ANY LOCATION NOW, THEY ARE COMING TO KILL YOU - SOLDIER ADVICES ORLU RESIDENTS.

A yet-to-be-identified Nigerian Army soldier has warned residents of Orlu town in Imo State to either relocate or be vigilant as some personnel had allegedly been given a shoot-at-sight order in the ongoing battle with unknown Gunmen.

The soldier, who spoke pidgin English in an audio obtained by SaharaReporters, added that he would not carry out the plan, and therefore, he had been allegedly marked by the army commander to be arrested and possibly killed.

Orlu has been a battleground of recent between the army and unknown gunmen, with the military alleging the Gunmen are members of ESN, a vigilante arm of IPOB, an allegation the IPOB has repeatedly denied.

The Army on Friday said that it killed 11 ESN and IPOB operatives in a gun duel in Orlu.

The soldier, who is attached to the 302 Artillery Regiment, Onitsha, Anambra State, warned residents of the town to relocate based on their commander's alleged order.

In the audio, the soldier said, "They first carried us (deployed us) to Maiduguri (Borno State). Then, 25 of us came back hoping that the matter was ended. Then they carried us to 302 Artillery, Onitsha. All of us were inside the barracks in Onitsha till 12pm this afternoon.

"When the fight ended in Orlu, the commander now said anybody we see, we should fire them.

"I beg you, because of God, if your person is in Orlu, from now till Monday, try to inform them. Tell them to change the location for now. Immediately I left the barracks, the commander said I was going out to expose them and make sure they get me and kill me.

"See the cloth that I am putting on. I didn't buy these clothes with my money, if you follow this line, I was given this cloth and I have kept my uniform."

FG Prefers Killing Children To & Dialogue

Do you know that the so called unrest in the southeast can end in a minute with a genuine dialogue? No Igbo person and other sensible humans are happy with the killing of Igbos by the army or other security operatives. Igbos are happy and peaceful people but Nigerians are inciting them to take up arms. They are alienated in the system and the fulanis killing their people without arrest. No Igbo child deserves to die in Nigeria again. I have not seen any reasonable person praise the army for killing IPOB because we all know how it started.

The that began as a genuine fight against killer herdsmen has been turned into terrorism through misguided military operations. I'm not in support of violent agitation but I'm questioning the option of killing someone who calls for and standing against killer herdsmen. Does that person deserve to die? Now the army doesn't consider the fact that Igbos are not in the service chiefs and are often described as "Fulani army killing Igbo children."

Do they even weigh the level of injustice before pulling the trigger? While we are appealing to the youths to drop the option of picking arms, the army should be cautious in pulling the trigger, the same trigger that set the north on unquenchable fire. Let us be fair and just in all our actions and only that way shall we enjoy peace in .

No unity of any country is sustained by guns and bullets.

One of the Absu student that escaped kidnap has narrated their ordeal with the kidnappers.

According to her, their abductors vowed to slaughter them and watch their cows step on their (victims) intestines.

Excerpts of her narration:

Trouble started when she along with other passengers numbering about 9 in total boarded a newly acquired Sienna vehicle belonging to their friend, Chris who was incidentally going their direction.

She said the journey was smooth until they reached a point riddled with many potholes, causing their driver, Chris to slow the speed at which he was moving.

According to her, it was at this moment that heavily armed men numbering about 10 came from the push, threatening to kill them.

She further noted that in an attempt to escape, their vehicle ran into a ditch, causing the doors to shut, making it difficult for them to escape.

Luck however ran out of them as their abductors broke the car windows, harvesting them one after the other.

Her saving grace however was when she lied on the floor, weeping and begging the abductors to spare her, offering her phone and money which they rejected, insisting that they don't want anything from them.

Even their threats to kill could not make her go into the forest where they have taken others to.

When they could not bear her delay, they left her.

She further said around 4am the next day, she called her friend who was among those kidnapped.

Her friend identified as UG told her that they were lucky to escape when their abductors fell asleep.

She added her friend UG told her that from the point where their abductors took them to, they were only a shouting distance from Enugu.

Just In: Unknown gunmen launched a fresh attack on a police formation in Ebonyi on leaving an operative dead.

The police spokesperson, DSP Loveth Odah, confirmed the attack to reporters in Abakiliki, saying the attack happened at the Obiozara Police Station in Ohaozara Local Government Area.

Ms Odah said the gunmen invaded the station in their numbers in the early hours of the day and started shooting sporadically.

A witness, Emmanuel Onuh, said the attackers invaded the station around 3:00 a.m. and began to set some parts of the building on fire.

“They shot one inspector dead and burnt down the office of the Divisional Police Officer and Administrative Block.
