Wizkid was arrested last night in Benin 🇧🇯. I’m happy this is happening cus some of them behave like they are above the law . He definitely thought he can’t be arrested but just look at him now .

So what happened ? Wiz was paid 800 million Naira for a show , he came on time , when it was time for him to perform he went on stage , the moment the crowed saw him , everybody was trying to climb up the stage . There was total disorder , the security tried to stop them and there was no way . They requested for back up but it didn’t help . There was NO WAY he could perform .

Wiz was immediately rushed out of the venue cus it was getting crazy . Abeg them no arresttam , there was just no way he could perform cus the fans were more than the security . At this point we realized how much Wiz is really loved .

Moral lesson :If na Shatta person no go climb stage .

Former US president Jimmy Carter has died aged 100. Carter died on Sunday December 29 in the US state of Georgia. President Carter turned 100 on October 1st, 2024 and CNA reported on this at the time.
He was 39th president of the United States and served for one term from 1977 to 1981 and was the longest-living former US president in history.
The former US president was a fervent Baptist Christian who continued to teach Sunday School at his local church of Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Georgia until the age of 99.
From 1997 to 2012, his Carter Center was involved in the fight against river blindness in Cameroon, saving the sight of many Cameroonians.

Malaysia: Man Flogged Publicly for Spending Time Alone With Woman Not His Wife

A Malaysian man was flogged publicly at a mosque in Malaysia on Friday 27 December for spending time in private with a woman that was neither his wife nor relative according to AFP reports which CNA has seen.
According to reports, 42-year-old Mohd Affendi was flogged at a mosque after Friday prayers in accordance with Sharia law. The flogging came because Affendi had broken an Islamic law known as "khalwat". He had been convicted for being with the 52-year-old woman two times before and on his third offence, the Sharia court decided he would be whipped. He was flogged in the presence of 90 people in accordance with the requirements of the law in Malayasia.
Sharia court-ordered caning is rare but not uncommon in Malaysia.
Two women convicted of violating religious laws by having sexual relations were caned in front of more than 100 spectators in an Islamic court in 2018 according to a France 24 report.
