➡️"The UAE is kind of forging ahead in all sorts of Wellness sort of metrics and wellness initiatives. It recently launched a national helpline for mental health based out of Abu Dhabi. At the beginning of the year.
➡️It became one of the first nations on the planet to kind of abandon the five-day week for the 4.5-day working week.
➡️They've already been to Davos reporting some of the initial findings which are decreased absenteeism and decreased presentism which is more expensive than absenteeism to businesses - this is something that CEOs and c-suites don't sometimes get - increasing productivity and an increase in the kind of staff staying, shall we say that attrition. Here the public sector is leading and actually, the narrative keeps getting louder to the private sector which is this is the train that's coming down the tracks.
➡️UAE is not rowing back on the well-being of its people it wants to attract the brightest and the best from around the world to the UAE.
➡️So, from an economic point of view, from a very sort of the almost selfish economic point of view, there is no marketing win for the UE to go backward in terms of Wellness. So, they've sent a really clear message to the private sector that is getting on board with this.

➡️ ”So many different technologies are ready now to be scaled, so we go and do that. But then do we know that if I didn't put those things in there, what is my baseline? We need to start to measure the baseline on not just each building by building, but the aggregate.
➡️ What is Dubai, for example, have for a carbonization footprint in a building footprint, what does Brazil or London or New York City or Vancouver, Canada? All of these cities that have a mandate need to start to think like that. The municipality needs to be able to request and be able, so again it boils down to policy and reporting.
➡️These types of reporting mechanisms not only are they lend themselves quite nicely to AI but also give us you know global leadership data that others can follow. Countries that do have a net zero mandate should be using tools and integrating tools such as AI to be able to show that movement of the needle, capture that data, and have an open source platform that globally shows because it will come down to that.
➡️Each country globally will have its responsibility, because if one is really a big emitter and the other one is a net zero, or a negative carbon output which is amazing, then how do we balance that right? It's not fair that one gets penalized, that everybody gets penalized the same when one is actually really putting in an effort and the other ones are not. AI I think lends itself to really that measuring tool in that data capture that we all need. ” – Damarys Zampini, Global Advisor Europe / LATAM, Ignite Impact Partners Fund

☑️” When it comes to taking care of our planet and having an equalitarian society, some people and some cultures have different levels of understanding and different levels of maturity and so we also need everybody here and everywhere in the world indeed to play their role. We have so much power in our hands as individuals every time we are about to buy something to consume.
☑️We're making an impact on society and the planet with that purchasing. The power we can change things we can buy from companies that are producing things in a more ethical
way that is treating their employees properly or we can buy just the cheapest stuff and go along with it we can buy things that are made in a sustainable way, or we can just buy things that are destroying the planet and even more importantly before we buy, we need to think do I really need that? Why am I buying this?
☑️Because most of the time most of us are buying stuff just because and we are living in a consumer society but that is putting like a huge burden on a planet that is you know limited planet with a limited number The power of resources and if we have a growing population and growing demand for products there is no way we're going to make it. We're not going to find the resources.“
