I recently had the pleasure of joining my friend from 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 for another exciting food review vlog. This time, we were invited by 𝘽𝙞𝙜 𝘽𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 to explore and savor their authentic Filipino cuisine.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗽
To kick things off, we were served Dynamite Shrimp. This dish was incredibly flavorful, with a perfect blend of sweet, salty, and spicy notes. It had an intriguing aftertaste reminiscent of a popular dish that I couldn't quite place (but it was delightful nonetheless).

𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀: 𝗔 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Next, we sampled their drinks: Iced Tea, Sago't Gulaman, Coconut Drink Frappe, and my personal favorite, Peanut Butter Frappe. While the drinks were enjoyable, they were a bit too sweet, making them a bit cloying to finish. Nonetheless, the effort and creativity in the drinks were appreciated.

𝗠𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿
We then moved on to a platter of mixed Pinoy street foods, including Isaw, Squid Ball, Kikiam, Fish Ball, Tokneneng (quail egg), and Grilled Chicken, accompanied by three different sauces: regular sweet sauce, sweet chili sauce, and vinegar with chili. This platter truly captured the essence of Pinoy street vibes, transporting us to the bustling streets of the Philippines. The experience brought back fond memories and a sense of nostalgia.

𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀: 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲-𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝘀
The main courses were a highlight: Kare-Kare and Fried Daing na Bangus. Both dishes were exceptional, with the Bangus being crispy and the Kare-Kare rich and flavorful, especially when paired with alamang. Even though I’m on a diet, resisting these dishes was impossible!

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀: 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗼-𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗮 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮
Lastly, we were treated to Halo-Halo and Maja Blanca, two beloved Filipino desserts. The Halo-Halo was good, though not particularly special, but the Maja Blanca was a standout—creamy and perfectly sweetened.

𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
I would give Big Bites Pinoy Restaurant 5 stars for their food, ambiance, and excellent service. This place is highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic Filipino cuisine. They are located at 𝘼𝙡 𝙉𝙖𝙝𝙙𝙖 2, 𝘿𝙪𝙗𝙖𝙞 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙈𝘾 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡. Visit them and indulge in their delicious offerings!

I recently had the pleasure of being invited by my friend 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙮 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 to join her food vlog at 𝗛𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁, located at the Movenpick Grand Al Bustan on Casablanca Street, Al Garhoud Deira. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the restaurant's lovely receptionist. The interior design of the restaurant was stunning, and the ambiance truly transported us to Japan.

This was my first experience dining in such a fine establishment, and Hibachi exceeded all my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the sushi, which was paired perfectly with a delightful white wine. The highlight of the evening came when 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙇𝙚𝙤𝙣, the General Manager, introduced us to their in-house chef. The chef prepared our delicious meal right in front of us, adding a touch of entertainment to his cooking that we absolutely loved.

While I can't recall the exact names of the dishes, I vividly remember the incredible flavors. The meal included a mix of grilled shrimp, asparagus, broccoli, young corn, beef, chicken, and salmon. Each bite was more delicious than the last. To top it off, we were treated to their new coffee menu, which hasn’t been released yet, making us the first to taste it.

Overall, the experience at Hibachi was wonderful. From the food to the service and the friendly staff, everything was amazing. I highly recommend visiting Hibachi Japanese Restaurant to experience it for yourself. You can book a reservation by calling 04-282-0000. I give them a well-deserved 5 stars and will definitely be returning.

My friend Duday and I recently had the opportunity to vlog and review 𝘽𝙖𝙯𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙖 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣. For those who aren't familiar, Bazooka Fried Chicken is an international brand originating from Egypt. We visited the Al Ghurair branch, where the manager introduced us to their new Kabayan Meal Deals.

The Kabayan Meal Chicken includes pieces of chicken served with white rice and gravy sauce, while the Kabayan Meal Musahab features 6 pieces of Musahab, also accompanied by white rice and gravy sauce. We were also provided with cheddar cheese and three different sauces to try: Barbeque, Sweet Chili, and Thousand Islands.

Here's my verdict: The chicken was juicy and crunchy, while the Musahab was exceptionally flavorful, standing out from the usual fillets available in the market. The distinct flavor of the Musahab was enhanced by the cheddar cheese and the variety of sauces, each adding a unique taste. The jasmine rice and java rice, while ordinary, cater well to the Filipino palate.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The flavors were commendable, the prices affordable, and the ambiance of the store, along with the friendly staff, made the experience even better.

In conclusion, I give Bazooka Fried Chicken a 5-star rating.

● Salain ang dugo ng baboy gamit ang strainer para matanggal ang buo-buong dugo.

● Sa isang malaking kawali, mag-init ng cooking oil.
● Igisa ang bawang hanggang maging golden brown.
● Idagdag ang sibuyas at igisa hanggang lumambot.

I recently had the opportunity to join my friend 𝘿𝙪𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙀𝙐𝙏 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧 for another food review vlog, and to our surprise, one of my favorite influencers, 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙮 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩, was there too! The owner of Jally's Kitchen treated us to an array of delicious dishes: Pad Thai, Japchae, Chicken Empanada (or samosa, as Pinay Indian Accent calls it), Lumpiang Hubad, and Halo-Halo.

I have to say, the Pad Thai stole the show for me. It was a pleasant surprise to find it on our review list. The blend of sour and salty flavors was perfectly balanced, tailored to suit the Filipino palate, making it stand out among other Pad Thai dishes I've tried.

The Japchae was equally impressive, with the shiitake mushrooms—one of my favorites—adding a rich, earthy flavor to the dish. Lumpiang Hubad was heavenly, with the sweetness and saltiness of the sauce in perfect harmony.

Although I was too full to try the Chicken Empanada, I could see the effort put into making it. And when the Halo-Halo arrived, it was packed with ingredients, showing the establishment's commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience.

Overall, Jally's Kitchen offers an amazing culinary journey that I highly recommend. Kudos to the owner and staff for their excellent service and delicious food!

Just recently, I had the opportunity to be featured in my friend Duday's video vlog again. This time, we visited Barrio Kapampangan at El Kubyertos, located on the 2nd floor of Al Madina Hypermarket, Salah Al Din St., Muteena, Dubai.

Upon arriving, we were greeted by a variety of food stalls, but we decided to try Barrio Kapampangan. We sampled several dishes: Sinigang na Ulo ng Isda with shrimp, Kilawing Balat ng Baka, Sinigang na Pata (Baka), and Buro with fried tilapia and steamed vegetables.

The Sinigang na Ulo ng Isda was particularly noteworthy. Unlike the usual sinigang, it had a unique flavor that I loved. The sourness was just right, and the owner explained that the distinct taste came from their special ingredients and the fish they used. The Buro was also exceptional. Despite its unusual appearance and the idea of fermented rice and fish, it was delicious. The fermentation process was clearly of high quality.

Since I don't eat beef, Duday tasted the beef dishes and declared them all amazingly good.

To top off our meal, we tried three variants of their homemade scramble: chocolate, classic, and ube. The ube scramble, in particular, brought back childhood memories. It was like enjoying ube halaya in ice, mixed with skimmed milk. I absolutely loved it.

Overall, our experience at Barrio Kapampangan was fantastic, with each dish offering a unique and delightful taste. Highly recommended!
