Have you heard of Smart Clothing?
Smart Clothes are electronic textiles or fabrics embedded with digital components such as batteries, performance monitors, health and mood analyzers. They use a variety of sensors to capture personal data, biometrics, physical parameters of the wearer and can be connected over Bluetooth or through mobile applications. Established companies such as Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Google and Samsung have experimented with this technology. The Smart Fashion industry is expected to grow by 26.2%, projected at 5.3 billion by 2024.

Turn the page and celebrate the power of words on World Book Day!

World Book Day was created by UNESCO on 23rd April 1995 to celebrate books, authors, illustrators and encourage young people to cultivate a habit of reading.

Did you know that early reading habits encourages greater cognitive development in children? To ensure this, the UK and Ireland hand out 'Book Day Tokens' to young people. They have distributed 15 million of these. Founder Baroness Gail Rebuck recalls, “We wanted to do something to reposition reading and our message is the same today as it was then – that reading is fun, relevant, accessible, exciting, and has the power to transform lives.”
