Smart Clothes are electronic textiles or fabrics embedded with digital components such as batteries, performance monitors, health and mood analyzers. They use a variety of sensors to capture personal data, biometrics, physical parameters of the wearer and can be connected over Bluetooth or through mobile applications. Established companies such as Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Google and Samsung have experimented with this technology. The Smart Fashion industry is expected to grow by 26.2%, projected at 5.3 billion by 2024.
