Mamoura British Academy, an Aldar Education school in Abu Dhabi, is in the running for the prestigious 'World's Best School Prizes' in the environmental action category, making it one of the top three contenders.

This recognition comes as a result of the school's comprehensive sustainability program, which includes recycling initiatives, sustainable food practices, hydroponic gardens, and innovative water fountains. The school has also integrated sustainability into its core curriculum through initiatives like the Industry Partnership Curriculum.

The winner will be announced in November 2023. Aldar Education, which operates Mamoura British Academy, has a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and has received Eco-Schools Green Flags for four of its schools. The global contest recognizes excellence in various categories, with winners selected by a Judging Academy and awarded $50,000 each.
