After 5 days of home medications, hindi pa rin okay si Sam. We brought him back to the vet clinic and 2 other doctors checked him. Aside pala sa palate injury (initial concern for visit), his lower jaw has also been fractured. We can only imagine the suffering he’s been through. No wonder he won’t eat kahit magpapalit2 ng wet food.

His condition isn’t good and he’s old na. We were given 3 options by the vet:
1. Medical treatment until he’s strong enough to be discharged but will be syringe-fed his entire life.
2. Surgery with no guarantee of survival due to severity of injuries and old age.
3. Euthanasia

He survived a lot, who are we to give up now? Day 1 of confinement started. Please pray for our Sam.

Please pray for Sam. He/She (we don’t even know yet 😞) is one of the neighborhood cats who come every now and then in our feeding station. Last night we saw him bleeding from the mouth, we tried to catch him but as inexperienced as we were, we failed. This morning we spotted him again in an open area, not moving under the heat of the sun looking worse than last night, and yet again we failed to catch Sam. We’ve decided we needed to take him to the vet ASAP as he may not be able to wait for another help if we ask—so we made our 3rd attempt despite our uncertainties as we’re not sure whether we can fund the treatment. He got so exhausted running away from us that he was panting a lot and no longer had the energy to fight, it was heartbreaking. Lots of unanswered vet phone calls so we just drove to find any clinic that’s open today. Our prayers were answered, he received treatment though he can’t be admitted as they were full. The vet made sure we had enough to care for him at home. We made the necessary arrangements at home as to not compromise our fur babies while caring for Sam. As of now he seems to be resting well, bleeding has been controlled and hopefully not in pain. Kindly spare a prayer for Sam’s speedy recovery. It would mean a lot to us.

Matagal na namin siyang pinapakain, sa labas lang nag e stay kasi di sila magkasundo ni mochi. Malambing, bigyan lang ng food ok na. Lumalabas para mag p**p tas uwi lang dn after. Tahimik, need lang space para mahiga.
Di n sya pde sa labas namin kasi may baby ang kapitbahay. Baka po may pwede umampon, ok na sya kahit sa labas lang ng pinto😥 or else magtatawag sila ng municipality😭
