Gulzadi Baloch Brutally Tortured By CTD Officers Before being brought to Hudda Jail, Quetta

Our activist Gulzadi Baloch was forcibly taken by CTD officers and police around 8:00 PM last night. For hours, her whereabouts remained unknown. Before being brought to Hudda Jail, Quetta at around 12:00 AM, she was subjected to brutal torture at the hands of CTD male officers.

She was physically beaten and tortured for over four hours. This inhumane treatment of a female activist is part of the state’s ongoing campaign of terror against peaceful Baloch resistance.

We hold the state fully responsible for the violence inflicted upon our activist. These fascist tactics will not deter our movement.

Baloch Genocide Intensifies as Three Forcibly Disappeared Baloch Extrajudicially Killed in Barkahan and One in Mashkai

Barkahan- Balochistan:
Three bullet riddled bodies of Baloch youth were discovered from Samand Khan area of district Barkahan. The victims were identified as Haq Nawaz Buzdar, Gul Zaman Buzdar and Shero Buzdar, all residents of Musa-Khel and enforcedly disappeared by the forces.
Mashkai, Awaran- Balochistan:
Another victim of extrajudicial killing is Nadir Baloch, a resident of Kandhari area Mashkai whose dead body was found dumped with bullets wounds. Nadir was taken in custody and disappeared a day before his dead body was found.

Extrajudicial, Arbitrary or Summary killings are a clear policy of the State to wipe out resistance and strengthen its control over lives and resources of the Baloch nation. It is killing civilians, disappearing conscious minds, arresting and silencing every voice that demands justice and right to live free from fear and persecution, targeting stone throwing protesters with lethal guns and has shut down entire Balochistan. The State constantly conflates peaceful activism with terrorism, however, ravages through the most basic human rights and values of the Baloch.

Baloch Yakjehti Committee urgently call upon the United Nations and Human Rights Organization to uphold International Human Rights Laws and hold accountable the perpetrators for their crimes in Balochistan. We call upon the Baloch nation to raise voice and resist against these rights violations now more than ever when the State is using all its power to silence us.

Our activist Gulzadi Baloch has been forcibly taken by police and CTD personnel from Quetta. Her whereabouts remain unknown for now.

This is yet another act of state repression targeting peaceful activists and voices of resistance. We strongly condemn this illegal detention and demand her immediate release.

We urge the international community and human rights organizations to take urgent notice.
