I don't know who needs to hear this but i will give you this information for free. Don't be carried a way by the flashy nature or financial exuberance of most people you meet online.
The streets of social media is quite different from real life. You can find someone going through a difficult and hard time still looking good. People generally on this street don't reflect like their situation.
Your life far better than many flashy people thus, is a prayer point of another person so don't feel down or discouraged. Everything in life has it's time just like the saying, nothing is constant in life. So cheer up.

Only You can can control what people think about you.

Africa is always painted to be a place of hunger and starvation by western media but they never tell you most African countries safer than even the US with a low s***m count medical system.
Even with the poor safety of the American people, most American try as much to protect the image of their country that explains why many people feel its a place of thrive with no struggles. Your bloggers, journalists and media house have the power to change what the world thinks about your country.
This explains why most Africans are treated like doormats abroad.

I know some gatekeepers will come at me for being objective here but before condemning your own, always know no place is perfect. Focus on showing the world the strengths of your country and not your weaknesses. Because you will intern be treated base on what they think about you.

He has mastered the act of blending the anglo Saxon culture to contempory entertainment. The world of entertainment is all about exploring the beauty of culture that has not been explored. Let use the case of ‘THE FISHER MANS DIARY’

Do you realize he used Nigeria to sell Cameroon to the world? He brought in Ramson Noah a Nigerian Veteran Multiple Nollywood award winning actor yet played the role of the protagonist in that story giving opportunities to our local actors to showcase their talent. You could barely count the scenes Ramson Noah appeared in the movie yet his picture trails on the movie on NETFLIX.
It was used to attract his massive audience around the world . The movie reflects the typical way of life of our people; the use of our pidgin language, food and the activities that generally characterize our way of life while addressing societal ills focusing on the emancipation of the girl child via education.

In the movie NGANOU we are hoping to be released this year, I don’t think we won't find something different from the FISHER MANS DIARY that purely reflects us. He features a HOLLYWOOD actor, which he will use to attract millions around the world while showing our way of life and culture from this part of the world. With such niche, we can call that collaboration with Nigeria. Let’s learn to distinguish between Subordination and collaboration. Our artists can do this or learn from him. We should learn from Nigeria, but never copy Nigeria. We claim he is filled to the brim with pride but I still believe it comes from a point inferiority complex. Quintus you have been handpicked for others to follow

For those of you who dont know how Afrobeats came about, it was originated in the 1960, a blend of traditional Yoruba music. Can we be intentional about blending our cultural music to contemporary music and exporting to the world so we can be uniquely identified. We need Nigeria to grow but the question is what content do we bring on the table that reflects us as a community?
Do we are accept we have issues of cultural identity? What is the way forward?
Once these questions are answered, you will find solutions to issues related to entertainment.

Anglophones are searching for a star in the sun when they have millions before their nostrils but have refused to support them for fear they will be better than them. Every Cameroonian artist trying to support Labianca presently is doing so out of personal interest.

The sound is afrobeat which originates from Nigeria thus she wants nothing to do with Anglophone Cameroon. In a recent recent interview, She made it clear she is American not Cameroonian. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Cameroon at age 4 and later returned to the US.
Support your young home artist. When they say 80/20 should be our goal. Wona di find established Anglophone artists out of frustration to lean on.
